Update on Upper Cook Inlet Task Force proposal 249. RC 75

Update on Upper Cook Inlet Task Force proposal 249. RC 75 was submitted by Board Member Webster, RC 88 followed with substitute language. RC 88 was voted down 0-7, Board members then took up part 1 only. Part 1 is in reference to ACR 17 that the Department submitted at the October work session addressing the new goal for late-run king salmon and was amended to the Department’s goal range of 15,000 – 30,000, and passed 7-0 (unanimous). Another change was the word biological revised to sustainable; it is now a sustainable escapement goal. 21.359 was the only regulation with any changes.

As soon as we get the official language, which will not be till mid April, we will post it.

Board Support has of yet to post the outcome of other proposals on the web.
